I started my professional career photographing my brother playing rugby.

As a skinny kid, I satisfied my love of sports by making images of the people and paraphernalia that symbolize the world of competition. I am probably best known for an off-beat photograph took while on assignment in Australia shooting the first World Rugby Cup for the catalog "Lands" End". It was a portrait of a kangaroo sporting the U.S. Eagles Rugby Jersey. Since then, my interest in sports and photography has taken many turns.

I am interested in architecture, interiors and exteriors. My product photography ranges from high tech to special effects. There are just so many wonderful aspects to my profession. Imagination is the key, figuring out the angle, the light and the personality of the subject all come into play to create a memorable image.

I have over 100 posters in my portfolio. I love group shots, small to large. It is a never-ending subject of people mixed with the environment, each other, current events and pop culture. My associate, Balfour Walker, and I remodeled an old building into a state-of-the-art photo studio near downtown Tucson, Arizona. It is a "cool studio" in a very warm place. I shoot 35 mm, 120, 4 x 5 and digital format.
