Based in Tucson now for over thirty years, Balfour Walker has gained a solid reputation in the world of advertising photography for his creative approach and attention to detail in the subjects he shoots. Balfour Walker was introduced to photography at an early age by both watching and working in his father's studio and darkroom. Moving to Tucson in the mid 60s, he graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in business before going on to set up his own photography studio.
Balfour Walker and his partner Chris Mooney bought a 5,000 square foot building just north of downtown Tucson in the summer of 2000. The interior was demolished and rebuilt from the ground up as a state-of-the-art photo studio. It's a peach of a building, designed and wired for digital photography.
